Great way to use up premix snowskin flour or kou fen (fried glutinous rice flour) for this toddler activity.
Prepare your snowskin according to package or recipe. It would be easier for you to add food coloring to the liquid first. If you knead the color into the dough afterwards, it can be difficult to get a nicely knead colored dough.
Let your toddler roll the snowskin into balls first. Dust the snowskin dough or snowskin mold with some flour before pressing out the design.
You can keep the snowskin dough, cling wrapped properly, in the refrigerator for about 1 week. Discard when the dough is hard.
