Refreshing and fizzy lemon vodka cocktail, perfect on hot summer days! This easy cocktail recipe with vodka uses just 3 ingredients, especially great if you might expect last minute guests.
Lemon Vodka Cocktail
Well, I guess sometimes we need that fizzy afternoon drink on lazy days. Erm… Adding work-from-home into the equation, I ain’t judging you because I do get myself some light alcoholic drinks on lazy afternoons.
This super easy cocktail is the perfect drink for you, if you are like me! It’s a simple lemon alcoholic drink, made with lemon, Sprite and vodka. You can also use lemonade with sparkling water, instead of Sprite, if preferred.
Ingredients For This Lemon Cocktail
- Fresh Lemon: You will need 1 medium or large sized lemon for this cocktail. Other than juicing the lemon, you can also use a microplane to grate a little of the lemon zest for topping. If you wish to add lemon slices in the cocktail, then you will need about 2 lemons.
- Sprite: I like to use Sprite for a quick and easy cocktail. If you do not like carbonated sweet drinks, you can always replace with lemonade (sweetened) and sparkling water.

How Does This Cocktail Taste Like?
It’s so good! I really enjoy sipping a glass of this fizzy alcoholic drink on a hot, lazy afternoon. The cocktail tastes like fizzy lemonade, the grown-up version, spiked with a splash of vodka.
Due to my personal preference, I didn’t want the alcoholic taste to be too strong. So I am using just 15 ml of the vodka (about 1 tbsp). If you prefer a stronger drink, use about 20 to 25 ml of the vodka.
