How Does The Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake Taste Like?
I can’t express how much I love the taste and scent of it!
The Baileys Red Velvet is swirled with the signature Irish Cream for a chocolatey treat, just like out of a bakery!
When I poured the liquor out, I caught a whiff of the delicious milky chocolatey scent – just like a rich, moist chocolate cake!
Don’t miss the Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake since it adds much richness to this cup of latte. Now you can make holiday beverages easily at home that rivals those sold in cafes!

Is It Easy To Make This Boozy Red Velvet Cupcake Latte?
Of course! You can make this latte in 10 mins! You’ll just need:
- Hot Water
- Freeze-dried instant coffee
- Cocoa Powder: Use a good one like Valrhona or Van Houten.
- Sugar
- Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake: You can also get the festive bundle at Cold Storage supermarkets!
- Milk
- Vanilla Extract: Try to use a good quality vanilla extract if possible!
- Whipping Cream for topping: You can whip from scratch with dairy whipping cream, or use the spray version.
If you like a red tone for the latte, you can add in some red food coloring.

How Does The Latte Taste Like?
I find that it tastes more like a milkshake! While it’s not overly milky, there is a good balance of the richness from the milk and chocolate taste.
You can have this red velvet cupcake latte in both warm or cold – I enjoy the cold version better! Goes really well with one sweet, fudgey cookie or cupcake!
Add More Oomph to The Red Velvet Cupcake Latte
These days, red velvet cupcakes are enjoyed better with cream cheese frosting. If you’re a cheesecake fan, try adding some cream cheese (about 45g) to whipping cream for the topping! Add in more sugar so that the topping can balance out the tanginess of the cream cheese.

Notes
Strength of coffee may vary, depending on the type of coffee used. Check the directions for your coffee and add in suitable amount for 60ml of water. Do not use 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 instant coffee.
If you do not take alcohol very well, reduce Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake to 1 tbsp.
The topping is optional, though it does make the latte more delicious! If you do not want to whip the cream from scratch, you can always get ready-made whipped cream spray.
If you prefer a cold beverage, after topped with whipped cream, place the beverage in the fridge to chill. Add sprinkles just before serving.
