It has been quite a while since I’ve last blogged!
Well, life goes on as usual, and I had been busy with cakes – very busy! Haha.. And then suddenly I am placed on bed rest, and it feels terrible.
I spent the first few days crying, and then finally accepting the situation, and decided that the best way now is only to pray π I am also trying to wean the little one off breastfeeding, and to be honest, the first 2 days were just so heartbreaking.
To let myself feel less guilty, I tried to make some bread for the little one. Feeling guilty since she has been eating take-away meals, supermarket loaves and other ready food. Thankfully she is with the childcare and she gets pretty good meals there!
I also bought some jams from GSH Conserves on Redmart. I have read about the entrepreneur producing the jam locally, on his own! The jam has a runnier texture than most store bought jam; the ingredients look good, and they certainly taste just like the real (sweetened) fruit!
I’ve got the Mango & Lime and Dragonfruit Lychee π
