[Giveaway + Recipe!] Lee Kum Kee Teriyaki Marinade Sauce

Have you seen the new Lee Kum Kee Teriyaki Marinade Sauce along the supermarket aisle?

Lee Kum Kee is like the childhood brand of sauces for me, as I remember dearly how my nanny would use their sauces in cooking. So now, other than its famous soy sauce and ready-made sauces, Lee Kum Kee has introduced yet another new sauce – its first-ever Teriyaki Marinade Sauce.

I am quite used to making my own teriyaki sauce using mirin and soy sauce, but I figured that this Lee Kum Kee teriyaki marinade sauce would be a great choice for quick dinner!

What’s even better is that, as Singaporeans are widely known to use sesame seeds for garnish, a generous amount of white toasted sesame seeds has been added to this sauce. This makes the sauce even more flavorful!

Thanks to Lee Kum Kee and Brand Cellar, I was able to try out this new marinade sauce, together with it’s XO sauce (I love this!!) and the new kawaii packaging for ketchup.

To test the teriyaki marinade sauce out, I followed the directions on the bottle, and was pleased to find that as the chicken cooked, the sauce thickened gradually to this glossy, honey color.

Cooking this is really simple – add 3 tbsp of the marinade to 450g of chicken. Marinade for 15 mins, then choose to grill or pan fry it.

So if you want a quick chicken sandwich for breakfast or lunch, try this out! You would be surprised by how quick this sauce can be, and how tasty this sauce can be! 🙂

I also tried out the cute ketchup bottle.

Hahahaha!! Please don’t laugh at my feeble attempt!

I guess kids will have fun with this ketchup bottle (I had fun myself!) haha!!

Now, for the GIVEAWAY:

I would use the Lee Kum Kee Teriyaki Marinade Sauce to marinade some salmon fillet, a dash of black pepper, sprinkle with chop garlic and ginger. Place in oven and grill it for 20mins or till cooked. Garnish with chop spring onion to finish up the dish. ~bakerinnn
