It has been so busy for me! Just started work, and I barely could breathe through the schedules.
Thankfully I quite minimised my maternity leave by going to events, lunches/dinners and even a baking class just before I returned to work ;p
I went to the Bosch Gourmet Master Launch on the weekend before I went back to work, thanks to Little Miss Bento! I was so excited to see their new range of products, since I was really amazed by their silent handheld mixer that I bought some time back.
Along with other Bosch machines on display, the highlight of the event was to introduce these 2 new machines – the Bosch MaxxiMUM Kitchen Machine and MaxoMixx Hand Blender.
Running on a 1600 watt motor, the Bosch MaxxiMUM Kitchen Machine is the most powerful kitchen machine on the market currently. It is also a great multi-tasker, which can perform 120 functions to fulfill various cooking tasks.
It also features easy armlift of the mixer arm, easy fill with a large funnel for bigger capacity, as well as easy pour with 2 handles and a spout.
There are also 4 discs shredder for easy food preparation: Reversible shredding disc, Grating disc, Asia-vegetable disc, and the Professional supercut reversible disc. It will make chopping, dicing and shredding of ingredients a breeze, for you to look like a Master Chef at home 🙂
And this is the MaxoMixx Hand Blender. This hand blender gives you effortless and comfortable handling, with ergonomically non-slip and soft-touch handle. There are 12 settings, featuring 750 watts of power and 4-winged Quattro blade stainless steel foot.
Even operating at extra turbo option, you would be happy to find that this machine is quiet with its low vibration motor (that is true!).
This hand blender is also multi-functional, great for smaller kitchens these days. It can transform from a whisk to a chopper, by detaching the blender foot, and fit onto the XL chopper to dice up ingredients such as herbs, nuts, onions, meat and cheese. There is even a separate knife attachment to crush ice cubes for parties!
Bosch MaxxiMUM Kitchen Machine (RSP: $1,499 / $1,699) and Bosch MaxoMixx Hand Blender (RSP: $219) are both available at leading dept and electrical stores.
On that day, Chef Stephan Zoisl demonstrated a few dishes using the MaxxiMUM kitchen machine and MaxoMixx hand blender.
First up, the welcome smoothie, made using banana, pineapple and blueberry. So tropical! 🙂
And then it’s cheese souffle with bacon ice cream. It’s my first time actually, to taste a savoury kind of ice cream.
Once the mixture has cooled down, it’s time to make ice cream with dry ice! This is made possible with the MaxxiMUM kitchen machine.
And then, Pasta Bolognese.
The dessert is Bombe Alaska, which was also our challenge of the day!
And then we were split into groups to make the Bombe Alaska.
My Bombe Alaska lol.
All of us bloggers 🙂
I had a great time that day (thanks Shirley!), and especially thankful to be able to learn more about Bosch’s appliances since my house would be ready soon 🙂
If you are interested, the Bosch MaxxiMUM kitchen machine and MaxoMixx hand blender were launched just on 1 April 2014. There would be a promotion on Mother’s Day. Do check out the major stores 🙂
